We are currently looking to fill the following position for our Irvine office:

1. Government & Regulatory Permit Processor: H&A Irvine, Inc. is looking to fill a full time position in the Planning Department for a Government and Regulatory Permit Processor. The applicant should be knowledgeable in standard entitlement processes, construction permits, and building permits. Stronge written and verbal skills are mandatory.

2. Civil Engineer with 5+ years experience with heavy emphasis on Hydrology/Hydraulics and preparation of Storm Drain Improvement Plans.

3. Design Engineer: with 7+ years experience in Land Development.

4. Survey Mapping Analyst: Seeking candidate with 5 to 10 years experience in survey mapping. Experience should include but not limited to Boundary Surveys, Final Tract maps, Record of Surveys, Legal descriptions, Lot line adjustments, Condo plans including experience processing through local agencies.

5. Mapping Processor: Seeking organized, people person, to assist in organizing, tracking, filing and processing survey mapping products and projects. These would include but not be limited to Final Maps, Record of Surveys, Legal Descriptions, Lot Line Adjustments, and Exhibits. Required Qualifications & Skills:
MS office, MS Access or other database programs. Some familiarity with civil engineering and mapping products. Suggested but not required: AutoCAD. Microsoft Project, Mapping Experience.

6. Hydrologist (Registered engineer desired but not required): 5+ years experience in hydrology and urban conveyance system hydraulics, DCV calculations, and hydromodification, water quality treatment and Low Impact Development (LID) analysis. Must have familiarity and knowledge of current local implementation standards and guidelines such as the County of Orange Model Water Quality Management Plan - Technical Guidance Document (TGD) and Hydromodification Management Plan (HMP) to integrate Best Management Practices (BMPs) into project designs for compliance with Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) permit regulations. Ability to perform urban hydrology/hydraulics with emphasis in dynamic continuous flow simulation modeling such as SWMM desired. Strong verbal and technical writing skills a plus.

7. Survey Department Support Tech.: looking to expand its field survey support staff. We are looking for a person with 5+ years of field Party Chief experience and basic AutoCAD skills. Prior experience in providing construction support calculations would be beneficial.

8. Application Programmer: "Qualified person will have experience in creating windows applications with .net, preferably using C#. We are looking for an intermediate level person that understands how to define objects and utilize them to make a variety of engineering related programs. Work will include learning existing in-house programs, and improving them. Research of freely available code, and commercial libraries will also be needed to keep things efficient. Applicant will work directly with another experienced programmer, so will receive specific guidance as needed, and have freedom to own tasks as they are able. Applicant will be able to work with users of the tools written, and fix anything needed so not be left wondering if the programs had a good or bad effect on the engineers using them.   The position is full time (40 hr/wk)."
